Our contract with you
Your order is an offer to buy from us. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we accept your order and in the case of wines and goods to be delivered to you, when we actually despatch the goods to you and send you a confirmation e-mail. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods or services to you. At the moment we accept your order or in the case of delivery of goods, when the goods are despatched, a contract will be made between you and us.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol or attend a West Mount Wine Event. By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If you are buying the wine or course as a gift, you are also confirming the recipient is over 18 years old.
All packages containing alcohol must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods will be retained by the driver, in which case the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery and a note explaining the next steps. We regret we cannot deliver wine to persons who are or appear to be under the age of 18.
When attending events, wine samples will not be distributed to any participant who, in the sole opinion of the West Mount Wine Host cannot provide evidence that they are over the legal age to purchase alcohol in the UK (currently 18).
