RIFF PINOT GRIGIO 2006
Riff Pinot Grigio is a white wine made of grapes that are grown in vineyards on the foothills of the Dolomites. This is a structured and fruity Pinot Grigio, which displays beautifully fine stone fruit character and a nicely well balanced acidity to keep the wine fresh.. Try this and you'll never go back to the supermarket's own PG!
VINEYARD
The Dolomites are a part of the Alps, which influences the climate and blesses the region with prized alluvial limestone soils. The name Riff (German for reef) refers to the Dolomites geological origin, deposited by fossils from an ancient sea that covered the region millions of years ago. This wine is made from grapes sourced from selected vineyard sites in Alto Adige, Trentino and Veneto.
GRAPE VARIEITIES
100% Pinot Grigio
VINIFICATION
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation on the fine lees for 4 months to add body and complexity.
