REDFIN SHIRAZ GRENACHE 2004
The Redfin wines were created with the specific aim of producing wines from Australia that once again generated excitement at this price level by over-delivering on quality and showing a personality. This wine redresses the balance and was awarded a Seal of Approval at the 2006 International Wine Challenge.
VINEYARD
This wine uses grapes from McLaren Vale, South Australia, where Shiraz and Grenache grapes produce ripe, full-bodied wines.
VINTAGE
2004 was a long, cool year that produced superb fruit in McLaren Vale. The Shiraz shows full flavour ripeness and soft, supple tannins. The Shiraz component provides the backbone of this wine, while
the Grenache adds elegance and aroma.
GRAPE VARIETIES
55% Shiraz, 45% Grenache
