VINEYARD The Adelaide Hills have a long growing season, and is the source of some of Australia's top Chardonnay from producers like Shaw & Smith, Jeff Grosset and Geoff Weaver. The relatively high altitude of the vineyards results in cool nights, which in turn provides the grapes with a long growing season during which they ripen slowly and accumulate elegant Chardonnay flavours.
