Intermediate Wine Tasting EventsIntermediate events are designed for those audiences which have a greater level of wine knowledge than in the basic events. These events assume a reasonable level of wine knowledge and an appreciation of basic tasting techniques. The events can be run successfully in a private or corporate setting.
The event list provides examples of event formats and is intended as a guide to the type of events that could be run. The details of each event can be tailored to suit your personal requirements.
Every event is specific to each client and hence the price per head is indicative. The overall price of the event is also influenced by the number of participants. We will agree a budget with you as we understand more about your requirements. Please note that it is possible to run events for less than 10 participants, but the pricing structure has a floor limit of 10 participants, as a minimum.
All indicative prices include VAT at 17.5%.
We will work with you to understand what you want to achieve from the event and what balance you want between education, fun and practical skills (i.e. wine tasting). For most events, the focus is on fun and practical skills.
Each event is designed to last between 1½ to 2 hours, with the tasting of approximately 8 samples, but we can flex that up or down according to your requirements.

Event I3 - Charity Wine AuctionHow much is that wine worth?
This is a great event format which combines the enjoyment of tasting, bidding and fund raising in support of your chosen charity. Participants taste the wines and then bid on them in an auction. The highest bidder wins, pays and then takes that bottle/case of wine home with them.
At the end of the auction we review whether bidders have paid over the odds or grabbed a bargain?
All auction proceeds are passed to the organiser. This event works best with larger numbers and it is recommended that the event is run for a minimum of 30 participants. The price for this event is on application to West Mount Wine.
