WOLF RIESLING 2006 BY DR LOOSEN This is an exclellent, well priced German Riesling, made at the Wolf Estate that is now owned by (probably) the best winemaker in the Mosel and former Decanter man of the year Ernst Loosen. It is an off-dry wine with lovely green apple fruit and a refershing acidity. SCHLOSS VOLLRADS CASTLE RIESLING 2006 Schloss Vollrads is a producer with a great deal of heritage. This introductory level wine shows the true quality that can be achived by German Riesling, even at this price level. The wine has fresh, floral perfumes.
