Wine Tasting Events - FAQs

What sort of tastings do you offer?

We offer a wide range of tastings, from introductory level events, though to tutored tasting of fine and rare wines. Visit our wine tasting event pages for more details.

Do you run tastings for private individuals?

We'd be delighted to run private wine tasting events for individuals and groups, subject to a minimum of 10 guests.

Do you run tastings for companies and organisations?

Yes. Again subject to a minimum of 10 guests.

Do you offer tastings for fewer than 10 people?

Typically the minimum number for any wine tasting event is 10 people. We will be happy to run events for fewer than 10, but will have to charge for a minimum of 10 guests.

Where can I hold my tasting event?

Wherever you would like. We can host the event in your home, your offices or any venue that is happy to accommodate us. We would advise seeking the owner's permission before booking. We often run events in local restaurants and provided you eat there they are usually willing to let you have use of a private room, free of charge. This is often the case with hotels if you're staying there and they're quiet. Other venues may charge a room hire rate and potentially a corkage fee. Do check when booking.

What areas of the country do you cover?

We are based in Yorkshire and cover the North of England and North Midlands. If you are unsure if we are able to run a wine tasting event in your area, please contact us

My 16 year old daughter would like to attend our wine tasting at home. Is that OK?

We are licenced to supply alcohol by retail and as such cannot supply alcohol to anyone under 18. We will refuse to serve anyone who is or appears to be under 18 years of age.

Do I have to buy wine at the tasting?

No. If you have enjoyed the wine at the tasting, you are welcome to order either at the tasting or on-line afterwards.
