Coming from the esteemed house of Lustau, this Papirusa Manzanilla is fresh, tangy and has the slight saltiness you should expect from a good Manzanilla. Perfect with any sort of tapas or just on it's own as an aperitif.

The quality of a Port house's LBV is often the best indicator to the quality of the wines overall. This wine spent four years in cask prior to being bottled to soften the tannins and add complexity. It was then bottled unfiltered to retain the deep and ripe flavours and therefore needs decanting before drinking. However, the effort is truly worth it!

The 2003 is an outstanding wine, from a great vintage in the Duoro. 2003 was a very hot year and this has produced a wine of great concentration and complexity but with great restraint as one can always expect from la Rosa. The wine has great ageing potential, but is very forward already, which is likely to give it a long drinking window.

LUSTAU VORS 30 YEAR OLD OLOROSO SHERRY
Now then, this is about as good as any Sherry gets. This is a 30 year old Oloroso and is the result of a selection of the best cask out of 10 which are aged in a Solera founded in the 1920s. The Council of the Denomination of Origin has endorsed this wine with the category VORS, more than 30 years of ageing and it is very old and very rare - a special treat for Chirstmas.

1994 was a great vintage for Port, with a slow and long ripening period to add a great deal of complexity to the wine. This example of vintage Port, from Qunita de la Rosa, is a wine of concentration and complexity but with great restraint as one can always expect from la Rosa. The wine is now entering its drinking "window" and will give great pleasure from now until 2030 at least.
