VINEYARD The Doña Elsa Estate is situated in Ram Caída, San Rafael, Mendoza at 750 metres above sea level. Rama Caída is among the coolest areas of San Rafael, with sandy calcareous soil of alluvial origin. GRAPE VARIETIES 100% Barbera VINIFICATION Fermentation took place between 20-30?C with gentle pumping over of the must to ensure good extraction of colour and soft tannins. The wine is unoaked to maintain its fresh fruit character. TASTING NOTE The initial appeal of this wine is its delicate floral and strawberry aromas.
