Made from grapes grown under contract, this wine offers an excellent introduction to the wines of the Mosel, showing an attractive fruity palate and a nice racy acidity. VINEYARD Dr. L comes exclusively from traditional vineyards with steep slopes and slate soil in the Mosel Valley in Germany. This introductory, non-estate wine embodies the elegant and racy style of classic Mosel Riesling. By working closely with growers on long-term contract, brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen are able to assure excellent quality in every vintage. GRAPE VARIETIES 100% Riseling VINIFICATION We're sorry but we do not have vinification details for this wine. TASTING NOTE This wine embodies the elegant and racy style of Mosel Riesling. It is very fruity and low in alcohol (at 8.5%) with a refreshingly crisp and cooling palate. An excellent match for spicy foods.
