This single vineyard wine has good richness, depth and is dry, tangy and minerally on the palate. VINEYARD The grapes for the Vigneti del Cerro Verdicchio is are grown in a single vineyard situated at about 360m above sea level on the eastern slopes of Alta Valle Estina at the foot of Mount San Vicino. The yields are 7 tonnes/ ha. GRAPE VARIETIES 100% Verdicchio VINIFICATION The wine was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel at about 18oC. The wine also underwent 100% malolactic fermentation. TASTING NOTE Pale with green lights, the 2010 is fresh and aromatic with intense perfumes of grapefruit, white flowers and a touch of acacia honey. The palate is balanced with lovely acidity with mineral note.
