CALBUCO RED 2006
Calbuco wines are sourced from the Central Valley in Chile - the strip of land that lies between the Andes and the Pacific. This wine is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot and gives a vibrant colour and a delicious soft, supple red fruit palate.

The must fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to maintain freshness and maximize the juicy fruit character of the grapes. Maceration lasted about 15 days. The wine remained in tank until bottling.
TASTING NOTE
Great depth of colour, with perfumes of blackcurrant and a hint of tobacco leaf from the addition of the Merlot, which gives way to a a soft, ripe rounded fruit character, with supple tannins and a juicy finish.
